Congrats to the KC Mavs Squirt AA team on their Championship title at the Rochester, MN tournament!

It was an amazing weekend for the KC Mavs Squirt AA team.  They played very high quality, extremely fast paced, heavy contact games. The boys showed amazing heart and compete-level to beat two very strong Minneapolis suburb teams, scored a tying goal with less than a minute to get a valuable point required to advance to the final in their third game, then battled through a 1 – 0 championship game where our goalie pitched a 17 shot shutout with kids laying out blocking shots from the point, scrambling to clear the crease of loose pucks, and held on to win during a furious last minute of the game. Way to go!
