Kansas City Hockey Club Introduced

Kansas City, MO- The Kansas City Youth Hockey Association (KCYHA) announced the rebranding of their highest-level city-wide travel team. The Kansas City Mavs Travel team will now be known as the Kansas City Hockey Club.

“The KCYHA felt strongly that its AA program has their own identity. The Kansas City Hockey Club name will provide a clear understanding and eliminate any confusion on which team within the KCYHA competes at the highest level,” states Rob Brown, President of the KCYHA.

The new logo consists of black, white silver color combination with a prominent KC within a shield design. The logo was created by Old Creative, a collegiate sports marketing and branding company based in Norman, OK.

The brand will be integrated over an 18-month period. A merchandise site https://kchockeyclub.itemorder.com/ has been set-up and proceeds from the site will go to provide funding to the Squirt, Pee-wee and Bantam teams.

“I know the players will be excited to represent the city well. The new KC Hockey logo will be a hit and provide a sense of pride for the team,” states KC Hockey Club Director John Scott Dickson.
