This spring and summer, Scouts coaches will lead a series of development opportunities for Kansas City Area players and families who are preparing for, or interested in, the Scouts A/AA winter travel hockey programs.  These opportunities will include monthly on-ice skill sessions as well as tournament teams.

The goal is to support player growth through a positive, challenging environment that emphasizes skill development, hockey IQ, and strong character.  These will help athletes build confidence heading into the winter season. 

Spring/Summer Skill Development Program Highlights

• 3 separate monthly sessions on Thursday evenings in May, June, July
• Each month is a separate registration to allow flexibility for families
• Dates: May 14, 21, 28. June 4, 11, 18, 25. July 9, 16, 23, 30
• Times: 10U 6:00pm, 12U 7:10pm, 14U 8:20pm
• Cost: May $75, June $100, July $100
• Led by Scouts Coaching Staff
• Held at KC Ice Center in Shawnee, KS

Summer Tournament Teams & Practice Prep Session Highlights

• Additional program includes 2 competitive tournaments. June 5-7 in Minneapolis, MN and July 17-19 in Omaha, NE
• 4 structured team practices. Sunday morning May 31.  Tuesday evenings June 2, July 7, July 14.
• Will field multiple teams for 10U, 12U and 14U
• Cost $500 includes tournament, practice ice, 2 jerseys & 1 pair of socks

The KC Scouts are Kansas City's premier A/AA travel teams for 10U, 12U, 14U players.
