AdventHealth Sports at Bluhawk is unveiling its brand new, state-of-the-art 1,500 seat ice rink this fall, offering something for everyone, from beginners to seasoned skaters.  Located in south Overland Park, their hockey program will offer 8U-14U teams, a learn-to-play program, along with a learn-to-skate academy. Registration for the club and it's program will begin August 1st.

Registration NOW Open. Steps to becoming an Icehawk!

• Step 1: Become a USA Hockey Member
  • Prior to registering for the Icehawks, all players will need to be registered with USA Hockey. 
• Step 2: Register with KCYHA
  • Once you have your USA Hockey Membership, you will need to become a member of the KCYHA Fees: $150. Not included in the Icehawks registration fees.
• Step 3: Create a Bond Sports Profile
  • All players and families will need to create a profile with Bond Sports, in order to register. Create your profile here!
• Step 4: Become an Icehawk
  • On August 1st, all players will need to register through Bond Sports.

• Cost:
  • 8U - $1,195
  • 10U/12U/14U - $1,495
  • Jerseys & Socks - Not included in registration costs. Est. $150 for the season
• Payments:
  • All payments will be collected through Bond Sports.
  • First payment is due upon registration (25%)
  • Second payment is due Oct 1st (25%)
  • Third payment is due Nov 1st (25%)
  • Fourth and Final payment is due Dec 1st (25%)

• Practice & Game Schedule:
  • 2 practices per week | Mondays & Wednesdays
  • Practices will take place at AdventHealth Sports Park at Bluhawk
  • Practice Times: 8U - 5:40pm-6:40pm | 10U/12U - 6:50pm-7:50pm
  • Games
    • 16-18 hours of regular season games in KCYHL House League
    • 1-3 playoff games
    • 8 games will be played at HOME (AdventHealth Sports Park)
    • 8 games will be played at OTHER RINKS ACROSS KC (KCIC, Carriage Club, Independence Community ICE, St. Joe, Line Creek).
• Player Evaluations & Team Placement:
  • All player evaluations at Line Creek on the following dates:
    • ALL SATURDAYS IN September (7, 14, 21, and 28)
      • 10:00a-11:00a – 8U
      • 11:15a-12:15p - 10U
      • 12:30p-1:30p - 12U
    • No additional costs- covered in registration fees.
