2017 KCYHA/Missouri Mavericks Youth Skills Competition
Sponsored by SportShake

On March 25th, KCYHA youth players participated in the First Annual Youth Skills Competition at the Silverstein Eye Centers Arena. Five local clubs put together 5 person teams - each team consisted of one player from each division (8U, Squirt, Peewee, Bantam and High School).

Each team competed and showed off their skills in four skill categories: fastest skaters, agility, passing and shooting). Each team earned points based on their place per station. The points were then added together to create an overall winner for the skills competition.

Congrats to the KC Fighting Saints for winning this years team skill competition!

The winners were presented with medals, by Mavericks GM Brent Thiessen, during that evenings Missouri Mavericks game.

You can view more photos from this event on our KCYHA facebook page HERE or at the link below. Feel free to share and/or tag yourselves!

Congrats to all the players - it was so much fun getting to see everyone come together and have a great time. We look forward to having this event again next year!
