KCIce is pleased to Present and Host our 14Th Annual Winter Classic Christmas Pond Hockey Tournament at the Rink at Zona Rosa.  Schedule below.  Each Tournament will start at 8:00am unless notified otherwise based on the number of teams entered and will be communicated to all teams. Please Grab your spot ASAP!

• Reserve your 3 Player Team’s spot for the 14th Annual Winter Classic Pond Hockey Tournament!   Send an email to operations@kcice.net with the following: 
  • Division
  • Team Name
  • Player Name’s
  • Each Division limited to 8 teams this year
  • This year, All Divisions will be 3 Player vs. 3 Player Teams

Schedule: 

• PeeWee  =  Friday, December 26th  between 8:00AM and 12:00PM.
• High School  =  Saturday, December 27th  between 8:00AM and 12:00PM.
• Squirt  =  Sunday, December 28th  between 8:00AM and 12:00PM.
• U8  =  Monday, December 29th  between 8:00AM and 12:00PM.
• Bantam  =  Tuesday, December 30th  between 8:00AM and 12:00PM.
• College/Family  =  Wednesday, December 31st  between 8:00AM and 12:00PM.

Last Friday, December 12th, in a Ceremony at the White House, our President, Ken Morrow, of KCIce and the 1980 Miracle on Ice, Olympic Gold Medal Champions were awarded the Congressional Gold Medal of Fredom.   This Award, the Highest Non Military Award was Voted Unanimously by Congress for the 1980 Miracle on Ice Team and signed by our President of the United States, Donald Trump. 

The 1980 Miracle on Ice Team, was UnCommon!  Coach Herb Brooks told his players, “you can’t be Common, the Common Man goes Nowhere; You have to be UnCommon!”  Ken was only one of only six of the players that went on to the NHL.  He is the only one of those that Won A Stanley Cup.  And he Won 4 Stanley Cups!!!!  Ken is a Hero’s Hero.  He lives a Life of being UnCommon!  Under his Leadership, our UnCommon Dream Team at KCIce Promote Community and want to Give Back to our Hockey Families in an UnCommon way.

For each Hockey Player that participates in our 14th Annual Christmas Winter Classic Tournament and pays the  $55 fee, KCIce will provide a Special Pass that allows the player to skate Pond Hockey Sessions for the rest of this Season for only $6.   If you Invite and Bring a friend that pays the normal $12 fee, then you can skate for free any day through the remainder of the Season!
