How To Add an Email Address

  1. The Parent/Guardian who registered the Player will need to follow the below steps.

  2. Sign in to the KCYHA website, click on Account Setting or go to the Household tab of your user dashboard.

  3. Select the athlete's profile that needs the email address added.

  4. In the top-right corner, click the Pencil Icon to edit.

  5. Enter the additional email address in the "Email Address 2" field.

  6. Scroll down and click Save.

How to Add a Parent/Guardian so they can access the App

The Parent/Guardian who registered the player will need to do the following to add another Guardian.

"Guardians" can view the team schedule, RSVP to games and events, message team members, and edit the athlete's profile. Guardians are typically: 

  • Family members of an athlete. 
  • The athlete themselves (if 13 or older).
  1. Sign in to the KCYHA website, click on Account Settings, or go to the Household tab of your dashboard. 
  2. Click on an athlete sub-profile.
    • NOTE: You can not add a Guardian to the account owner's profile. 
    • If you don't have a sub-profile for the athlete, you will need to add one either through a registration or by claiming a roster spot
  3. On the right side, under the Guardians header, click the plus sign (+). 
  4. Input the Guardian’s email address to invite them.  
  5. Toggle which athlete profiles this Guardian should manage. 
  6. Click Send Invitation.

Helpful Tip! The invited guardian will appear on the Guardians tab as "Pending" until they accept their invite in their dashboard. You can resend a guardian invite at any time by tapping Resend next to the Guardian's name. You will receive an email when the Guardian has accepted the invite.

Adding an additional guardian

In many instances, more than one parent or guardian needs to be in the loop with a child's sports life. Using the mobile app, you can add additional guardians to an account. Guardians can 1) View games and events 2) RSVP to games and events 3) Send and receive messages to coaches and team members 4) participate in team chat

Adding a Mobile Phone

Once you've created your account, add your mobile phone so you can receive text messages from your team manager or coach.

Enabling Text Messaging

Now that you have your mobile phone on your account, make sure you enable text messaging and any other notifications.
