Goalie Clinic Aug 11-13, 2017 at KCIC in Shawnee, KS
Kansas City Youth Hockey Association (KCYHA) is excited to offer a Goalie Clinic August 11-13, 2017 at KC Ice Center in Shawnee, KS. This is a great opportunity for all goalies in the area! It will be led by Scott Ismond and Matt Rowe. This is open to all ages, each player must provide their own goalie equipment.
Cost and Registration
Beginners $125: Ages 12 and Under with approximately 1-2 years of experience.
Intermediate $150: Ages 12-16.
Advanced $175: Ages 16+.
Coaches may need to move players around to appropriate level. Fees will be adjusted accordingly.
Space is limited! Registration deadline is August 4th however we have limited space so register early to reserve your spot!

About Scott Ismond
Scott Ismond, Iowa State University:
A native of Calgary, Alberta, Scott Ismond played for the Cyclones for five seasons during his undergraduate years. In 2015, Ismond returned to Iowa State to pursue a graduate degree and joined the Cyclone Hockey staff as the program’s goaltending coach. Ismond was named the JV Head Coach for the 2016-17 season, he also works with each goaltender in the program to better their skills. With his work, Cyclone Hockey has achieved goaltending dominance at both D1 and D3 levels. Prior to Iowa State, Ismond worked with the prominent goaltending development group, World Pro Goaltending. With World Pro, he worked with goaltenders of every level including the pros.
About Matt Rowe
Matt Rowe:
Born in Overland Park, KS moved to Chicago at age 6. Grew up playing AA and High School hockey in Chicago. 2010 Illinois High School Hockey Goalie of the Year. Played Tier 3 Juniors in Wisconsin. In 2012 led the league in save percentage. Played NCAA for Bethel University in Minnesota 2012-2016. 2nd in league save percentage Senior year. 2nd in BU record books for shutouts. Coached at MEGA (Minnesota Elite Goaltending Academy) from 2012-2015. Coached at Premier in 2016. Moved to Lawrence, Kansas in 2016. Will be working with KCYHA goalies this upcoming season.
